Odd Duck offers dinner service in a casual fine-dining atmosphere, with a cozy cocktail bar, and includes a stunning 2,000 sq/ft private event space set above the restaurant to accommodate groups from 10 to 180. This ballroom event space boasts hardwood floors, a domed coved ceiling, original architectural embellishments, and a custom built platform stage with a grand piano.
Conveniently situated between Portland, Augusta, and Camden, Odd Duck is easily accessible to all and is a perfect location for any occasion. Blue Fuse is an acoustic jazz band based in Portland, Maine. Their music is steeped in Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club Jazz of Paris in the 30s and 40s. They play the classics & contemporaries, featuring Adam Yeager on guitar, Sonja Florman on accordion, Craig Hensley on guitar, and Dan Koloski on bass.

THE PENNELL ROOM
This 2,000 sq/ft hardwood floor ballroom is a blank canvas for you to create your event. Named for sea Captain Pennell who once owned the building with his family in the mid-1800’s, this charming historic building has been awarded for its restoration.
THE DUCK POND
Affectionately called “The Duck Pond”, this 525 sq/ft private space is adjacent to the main restaurant and is perfect for smaller groups. Whether a business dinner with powerpoint presentation, family reunion, or private dinner, we’ll set the space to your need.
Odd Duck – Food, Spirits, Entertainment, offers on-site and off-site catering. We proudly will host you at our restaurant and event center or can easily come to you. All of our catering is prepared here in house. Locally sourced ingredients are crafted to suit whatever style service you are looking to provide.
This includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, breakfasts, luncheons, dinners (plated or buffet service), or an after hours party at the bar.
