Becky Marcos

When the opportunity presented itself to buy into the historic building at 11 Pleasant St., Becky and her husband Wayne jumped at the chance to bring their vision, creativity, and passion for service into action and fill a need they saw in the community.

On January 1, 2019 the Odd Duck FSE was birthed and quickly became a talked about fine dining and event venue in Southeastern Maine.

Becky has deep family roots in the area, with her father from Brunswick and mother from Topsham. Ten years ago she returned to Brunswick and shortly thereafter opened her first venture with Wayne, the Lighthouse Variety and Deli, which is currently the go-to spot for locals and Bowdoin students.

Ashley DeSilva

A Maine native, Ashley thrived in the upscale dining seen between Timber and Bird Dog Roadhouse of Cape Elizabeth as Sous Chef before chasing the warm winter dreams of sunny California. In Sacramento, she honed her creative skills in the farm to table capital of America while appreciating the broader palate of produce available year round. She especially loved elevating dishes with local wine pairings at Lucca Restaurant and Bar.

Ultimately, the love of the sea and its decadent ingredients drew her back and she returned to Maine when she was presented with the opportunity to launch with Odd Duck FSE.

As Executive Chef, Ash has thoroughly enjoyed sharing her passion with Brunswick: local food, done remarkably well. In the rare moment you don’t find her in the kitchen, you’ll find her foraging in the woods or fishing with her fiance and their three dogs.
